Youth Ministry Summer Intern (Male)

We are a 135+ year old congregation, located on the East Side of Saint Paul. We are many voices, celebrating new life in Christ, living out love through spiritual growth, vibrant worship and compassionate service. The youth ministry exists as a place where youth can be known and belong, grow in their beliefs and faith in Christ, and behave in ways that impact their world for the Kingdom of God. You will find a mix of suburban and urban influences in our congregation and learn about our strategic partnerships in our community. You will assist in the planning, promotion and administration of various points of FCC's youth ministry. Areas include: weekly youth group, monthly special events, Hero Training Camp (a week long day camp in August), My.Life (a weekly life-skills class for kids in the neighborhood) and a Junior High weekend excursion. You will have the opportunity to develop regular contact times with youth. This internship is designed to be a full time job at 30-40 hours a week, with a week of vacation provided. All youth ministry-related trips and events will be covered. This position is accountable to the Youth Minister and will have interaction with other members of the ministry team. Housing will be provided, if needed. Must have own transportation.
