Worship Leader (Intern)

Objective: Provide support to Pastor Chris and other team leaders in leading the congregation into worship; mentoring, discipling, and guiding all musicians. A worship director intern will wholeheartedly support and promote the mission, vision, values and beliefs of The Bridge and its ministry. Commitment: • Attend all Sunday morning services from 10:30-11:30. • Attend all Sunday morning practice sessions from 9:00-10:00. • Attend and come prepared to all leadership meetings. • 240 hours for internship per North Central. • Attend at least one leadership conference per year. • Support The Bridge through tithes and offerings. Duties and Responsibilities: • Disciple, guide, and teach the worship team upon request and need. • Recruit members to join. • Help set up worship. • Document and e-mail Pastor Chris with the song list for Sunday morning. • Pray with the team prior to service Sunday mornings. • Initiate conversations with visitors and other congregation members. • Start practice promptly at 9:00 and end promptly at 10:00. • Prepare songs at least one week in advance. • Make sure nothing is on the front seats or front of stage, keep a clean atmosphere. • Have song list ready for media director(s). • Evaluate yourself on a weekly basis. • Have an evaluation with the lead pastor once a month. • Schedule worship team and sound technicians for each week. Qualifications: • Capable of leading a worship team. • Disciple of Jesus Christ. • Excellent Relational Skills. • Not complain but offer a suggested solution to any situation. • Not involved in Pornography. • Teachable, Flexible, and a person of Integrity.
