Middle School Ministry Internship

Peninsula Covenant Church If you are looking for an opportunity for growth and community, not just the fulfillment of credits, than this may be the internship for you. Peninsula Covenant Church (PCC) is a unique body in one of the most diverse economic areas in the Bay Area. PCC resides in the Bay Area just 25 miles south of San Francisco. In the 60's PCC bought out a health club directly next door and now we have a thriving Community Center which serves hundreds of Redwood City residents. 90% of the members at the club are un-churched. Our community center a huge opportunity for outreach! This body of believers truly embraces the idea of community. Believers growing in Christ together, bringing honesty and brokenness to the table. We have around a 1,000 members, but there are so many opportunities to connect. PCC is devoted to the great community! We are a presence at Redwood City events, and hold events on our campus for the greater community. If you love ministry with sports, children, youth, senior citizens, music, art, homeless, skateboarding this could be the place for you. There are SO many opportunities that you will get the chance to customize your internship. Our internship is a "group" internship, so you will be meeting with other interns who serve in different ministries on a weekly/daily basis. Due to the fact that our church owns a community center and runs programs for children throughout the summer, your internship in combination with employment in one of our summer programs, totaling 40-45 hours a week will give you a paid summer experience. Our interns are provided with an intern lounge where all of your meals for the summer are covered. We also provide free housing with one of our church families. As an intern you will get first hand experience at running programs and ministering to students. We also INVEST and POUR into you. Our summer interns are rock stars at PCC!
