Children's Ministry Intern

Internship Description The children’s ministry internship at Mt. Zion Christian Church is designed to offer college students an opportunity to work with children and families of a large, active congregation within a multi-staff setting. Because we view the intern experience as crucial to the development of servant leaders, Mt. Zion treats all interns as professionals. Staff members take our mentor and supervisor roles seriously, and interns are not assigned menial tasks.

Children's Ministry

We currently have 3 intern positions open in our children's ministry at New Life Fellowship. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to experience many environments: working with a team of volunteers, working with children in various settings (discipleship, camp, day trips and events, basketball, outreaches and two weekly services), working with parents through our life groups, doing technical things, drama, web site building and maintenance, administrative duties and many more. You will get a great feel for full time ministry in a short amount of time.

Children's Ministry

We are a Community Church congregation of 75-100 in a small town in western South Dakota near the beautiful Black Hills. We have a thriving junior/senior high youth ministry (average 25-40 attendance) in a congregation of mixed ages, families and singles. Our current Children's Church ministry leads 15-25 children. We are wanting to expand our community influence to children in the same way we have succeeded with youth ministry.

Children's Ministry Internship

Freedom Church, a two-year old Assemblies of God church plant, is looking for a children's ministry intern for the summer. We average 200 people in attendance in our three Sunday worship services and have around 8-15 children in our weekly kids church. The intern will be responsible to lead our present children's ministry leadership team (3-4 adults) and lead the childrens church services during our 11:00am and 6:30pm Sunday services. This person will also be responsible for leading outreaches and attend summer Bible camp with the kids.

Children's Ministry Intern

Objective: Provide support to Pastor Chris and other team leaders in leading the children’s ministry department of The Bridge. The children’s ministry director intern will wholeheartedly support and promote the mission, vision, values and beliefs of The Bridge and its ministry. Commitment: • Attend Sunday morning services. o Delegating out responsibilities. • Attend and come prepared to all leadership meetings. • 240 Hours total for the internship per North Central • Attend at least one leadership conference. • Support The Bridge through tithes and offerings.

Program Assistant

Position Overview: The main role of a Program Assistant is to help develop various programs within our ministry and to offer assistance within case management. This will involve preparing, organizing, and co-leading various events for children of prisoners and their families.

Social Work Intern

Metro Hope Ministries is a Christian non-profit recovery ministry. At Metro Hope Ministries, our staff and volunteers are making a real difference and changing lives every day. We are seeking an intern to assist at Healing House, our women and children's facility.   This is a part-time (approx  15-20 hours per week), unpaid position.  This internship will provide an opportunity to exercise your creativity, utilize your computer skills, gain valuable work experience and deepen your faith. 

Responsibilities/ Requirements:

Child Evangelism Internship

Child Evangelism Internship will provide you with practical ministry experience that may also give college credit, an opportunity to work together with local staff to expand the CEF ministry to children and explore non-profit ministry opportunities outside the local church setting. This internship is for a college junior or senior with some background in and a heart for children’s ministry seeking an internship to meet requirements of your degree.

Children's Ministry Worship Lead

North Heights Church is looking for spirit-filled, exuberant worship leaders to take part in an internship position within our Children's Ministry. As an intern you will be trained, mentored and given the opportunity to lead worship for our either our Sunday morning or Wednesday night programs.

Summit Kidzone Director/Intern

Kidzone Director/Full-time Summer Internship (working to a Salaried position in September) Job Description – Summer 2010 Summit Church is seeking a full-time Intern to work in residence at Summit Church for the Summer of 2010 (with the possibility of a full-time salary in September of 2010). 20 hours a week of the position is devoted to the development of Summit KidZONE (the K-5th grade ministry of Summit Church).
